Al Lutchin – Career Compass Canada

Al Lutchin is President & CEO of Career Compass Canada – a leader in Strategic People Solutions and Career Transition services. He has served in senior management roles in both the private and public sectors. Al is Vice-President of The Rotary Club of Hamilton AM, co-chair of the Hamilton Chamber HR committee and hosts a show on Cable 14, Hamilton Works. Al was born in a small rural community in South Western Ontario and started his career as a Reporter working in Halifax after graduating from UWO. He and wife, Nance live in Ward 7 on the Mountain and his daughter, Kate, is a Veterinarian and co-owner of the Blue Cross Animal Hospital. Al is proud to be leading the Career Compass Canada team celebrating 40 years of service excellence.  The founding Hamilton firm was launched in 1975 as D.C. Harrison and Associates – one of the National pioneers in developing outplacement/career transition programs for impacted employees. Al’s hobbies include horseback riding and working hard to improve his golf game.
